Alright, let's get this done!
It's time to write your paper! If you have done all of the other steps correctly, this is the easy part. Put your notecards in order according to where you have the information in your outline. If you are using powerpoint slides, shuffle them into order. Now, start writing by creating a good introduction that let's your reader know exactly what your paper is about, but if you use the words, "I will tell you about" or "This paper is about" I will fail you without reading reading the rest...literally!
Watch your outline to figure out the best breaking points between your paragraphs, and add appropriate commentary to tie the paragraphs together. If you did what I told you to and either paraphrased or summarized information on your notecards or put them in qutation marks if they are direct quotes, you should be able to copy directly from your cards to build your paper (copy and paste works if your cards are digital). Just stay organized and don't forget the commentary. Every time you use a card, use a the parenthetical that goes with it!!!!!! Create a great conclusion, too!

No, No, No! Don't Submit It Yet!
I know you are tired, but you have to revise your work now. I recommend that you take a break (unless you're the kind of genius who has cut it so close on time that you have to submit it within the next thirty minutes). Take a walk. Make a phone call. Play some Angry Birds. Anything to keep you from just hitting submit and throwing your computer out the window! Then, return to your paper, and let's revise it. Revision is the process of rewriting any parts that don't sound just right or don't flow together well. It is also your chance to reread your teacher's instructions and check to be sure that you followed ALL of them. Read through once, twice, three times to make sure it is the way you want it and make changes as you go. Or, print it out and mark it up carefully, and then go back to your computer and make the changes. When you have finished making changes, read the paper again as a whole. If you like it, take another break, but come back before you submit!

Don't You Dare Turn It In Yet!!!!
Now, you must go back and edit your writing carefully to make sure that you haven't made grammatical or spelling errors and to make sure that your sentence structure is correct! This means reading each sentence individually and making sure that each one works correctly. Taking the time to do this can be the difference in a letter grade or more for most teachers. You can do all the research in the world, but if you can't express it in well-written sentences, it won't even matter. Use the checklist below to help you. When you have made all of your corrections, it is time to submit. For information on submitting papers, see the next tab. OOOHHHH this is so exciting!
